Day 1

Arrive Delhi

We at Delight India Holiday welcome you to your 7 Nights/8 Days Golden Triangle with Kerala backwater houseboat tour. You will be welcomed and transferred to your pre-booked hotel by our representative on your arrival at the Delhi Airport. You must be tired so, after check in at the hotel take some rest and get refreshed. Later in the evening you can visit Red fort to enjoy the Light and sound show. The Red fort was the residence of Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years. After having dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 2

Delhi

On the second day of your Golden Triangle with Kerala backwater houseboat tour, after breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of India’s capital territory, visit Qutab Minar -the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visit Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb – tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, after lunch visit The President House, India Gate, National Museum, Laxmi Narayan temple, Raj Ghat, Chandni chowk market. You can have dinner in a famous restaurant of the city. After having dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 3

Delhi – Agra

On the third day, after breakfast proceed to Agra – the city of marbles. En route you will visit the famous Tomb of Emperor Akbar at Sikandra. After arriving, check in at the Agra hotel . Freshen up and take some rest, after lunch visit the local market and buy some handicrafts for your family and friends. In the evening, you will visit the Taj Mahal, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz, that is why it is known as a symbol of love. Visiting the beautiful monument at Sunset gives you a unique experience, the beautiful monument looks even more gratifying at Sunset. Have your dinner in a famous Mughal restaurant of the city and then go back to your hotel for the night.
Day 4

Agra – Jaipur

On the fourth day of your 7 Nights/8 Days Golden Triangle with Kerala backwater houseboat tour, after breakfast you will proceed to explore the 16th century Agra Fort also known as the “Lal – Qila”, house to a number of exquisite buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Agra fort, Shah Jahan spent his last days imprisoned by his son, Aurangzeb. After Agra Fort you will visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, it is also an architectural marvel. People also refer it as Baby Taj Mahal because it has Minars(towers) similar to that of the Taj Mahal. Then proceed to Jaipur – the Pink city, en-route you will visit Fatehpur sikri – a city founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. After arrival, check in at the Jaipur hotel. In the evening you can explore local markets. After having dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 5

Jaipur

Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and in 1727, founded what is now called the Old city, or “Pink city” for its trademark building color. After breakfast visit Amber fort – most famous monument of Jaipur, where you can enjoy an elephant ride and then visit Jaigarh fort. After lunch explore other attractions of the city, like the famous City Palace – a palace complex in Jaipur, visit Albert hall & Museum, Hawa Mahal – a palace in Jaipur, India, named so because it was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside. In the evening visit Jantar Mantar and Jal Mahal. After having dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 6

Jaipur – Cochin

On the sixth day of your tour, after breakfast you will check out of the hotel. We will drop you at the Jaipur airport to catch your flight for Cochin. Our representative will receive and take you to your Cochin hotel on arrival. Relax at your hotel in the evening. After having dinner, rest for the night at your hotel.
Day 7

Cochin – Alleppey (Backwater Houseboat)

On the seventh day, after breakfast, visit local sights of Cochin like; the St. Francis Church, the Santa Cruz Basilica, the Dutch Palace, 15th century Chinese fishing nets and Marin Drive. Then visit Alleppey. Alleppey or Alappuzha is a city on the Laccadive Sea in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It’s best known for its houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons. After arriving, check in to the houseboat, have lunch on board and enjoy the backwater houseboat ride. After having dinner, rest for the night in the houseboat.
Day 8

Alleppey – Cochin (Depart)

On the last day of your 7 Nights/8 Days Golden Triangle with Kerala backwater houseboat, after breakfast check out of the houseboat, we will drop you at the Cochin airport to catch your flight for your further journey.
