Amer Fort
The first attraction on your Same Day Jaipur Tour by Train is Amber Fort or Amber Palace, which is about 11 kilometres from the centre of Jaipur. The Amer Fort was built by Raja Alan Singh in 967 AD. This is the most famous tourist attraction in Jaipur. The structure is made of red sandstone and marble. The beautiful palace is laid out on four levels, each with a courtyard. and palace are Diwan-e-Aam, or the Hall of Public Audience; Diwan e Khas, or the Hall of Private Audience; Sheesh Mahal (the Mirror Palace); Jai Mandir; and Sukh Niwas.
